Tae Bo

Tae bo is a series of exercises that were created over twenty years ago by Billy Blanks. Billy Blanks has a wonderful story that is not unlike stories of others that create great workout systems in their lifetimes. He grew up with hip joint problems that made teachers and others think that he would never amount to anything of worth.

At the age of eleven Blanks took a marital arts class that helped him to master his imbalances. Over the years Billy Blanks managed to win marital arts titles and he also achieved a seventh degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a black belt in several other marital arts.

Billy Blanks went on to continue to compete international in martial arts, winning gold medals on a regular basis. In the late eighties Billy Blanks opened up his own karate studio. That was around the time that Billy Blanks began to mix moves from Tae Kwon Do and dancing. That was when Tae bo hit the exercise scene.

As more and more people began to catch on to this exercise craze, Blanks continued to evolve Tae Bo. These days Tae Bo is a very popular exercise form that brings forth stunning results.

The newest Tae bo craze is Tae Bo AMPED it is designed to sculpt ad elongate muscles. After performing these exercises on a regular basis people can expect to notice their abs sculpting right before their eyes.

Tae Bo is intense. Although it is a wonderful exercise to practice, those that embark on the Tae Bo challenge should begin slowly. Tae Bo is one of those workout programs that knocks the wind out of those that are not used to having regular physical activity in their lives.
